I LOVE ribs! The best part about these ribs is how simple and easy it is to make them. I grew up with my dad spending hours perfecting his ribs, so I never even tried to replicate it. Finding this recipe has changed my mind! It’s a family favorite for sure!

BBQ Ribs- Instapot or Crockpot

Ingredients
- For the Rub:
- 1 Tbsp paprika
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- salt and pepper
- For the Ribs:
- 1-2 racks of baby back pork ribs
- 2/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- BBQ sauce of choice (if you're looking for a paleo option, the brand primal kitchen has great options)
Instructions
- In a small bowl mix the spices for the rub.
- Pat ribs dry and remove membrane on back of the ribs. Season generously on both sides with rub.
- Place trivet at the bottom of your instapot and add apple cider vinegar. (you may also add a cup of apple juice if you want a sweeter flavor).
- Place ribs in instapot wrapped in a circle (like shown in picture). Close lid and cook on high pressure for 23 minutes. If using crockpot, cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Let ribs do a natural release for 5 minutes in pressure cooker then release pressure.
- Once done, take ribs out and place on baking sheet covered with parchment paper or aluminum foil. brush them generously with your BBQ sauce on both sides. Broil them on high in the oven for 5 minutes or until slightly charred. Add more BBQ sauce after they are finished.
