The name of this salad dressing is bold. But in all honesty, it’s true. Or at least it’s true for me. This is a one-stop-shop dressing, marinade, or dip. You can use it on a bed of arugula or mixed greens with no other toppings and it’s DELICIOUS. How many other salad dressings can you say that about? It tastes similar to an Italian only so sooo soooooo much better. And when it’s homemade, you get to control the oil, sugar, and salt quality AND quantity. Which means a better for you, better tasting dressing. It feels so good to be bad. But not really. Because we’re actually being good to ourselves. š

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil (you could sub with avocado oil)
- 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon djion mustard (I like the brand Maille)
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
- 1 tablespoon raw honey
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients into a mason jar, secure the lid on tightly, and shake for 30 seconds until the liquid has emulsified and is well blended.
- Tip: most mason jars come with cup and milliliter measurements already on the sides, so use those (if you have them) when you begin to make this recipe to save time.
